BYD YangWang will participate in the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show in the form of a separate booth, with the YangWang U8 and YangWang U9. The interior layout of the U8 and the design of the Star Ring cockpit have been officially announced today.
The U8 is equipped with a 12.8-inch curved Star River screen with a 37° tilt angle and a curved OLED panel with excellent contrast and brilliant colours; the 23.6-inch instrument screen and the passenger entertainment screen run through the back of the Star River screen, creating a borderless immersion; the rear is equipped with two 12.8-inch hover screens, supporting five screens without border linkage.
The official, Yangwang U8 standard with intelligent motion seats, using top Nappa leather, fine texture, and warm touch, but also based on real-time road information to adjust the side of the seat; equipped with evidence series Hi-End level audio system, 22 speakers precision arrangement, flagship Hi-End speakers combined with a number of innovative technologies, can achieve 3D immersive sound.
The U8 is equipped with an oversized sunroof with embedded suspended star texture, which creates a sense of tranquillity in the cosmic dome with the ambient lighting and customizable sunroof pattern.
