BYD signs order for 64 buses with Nobina, the largest bus operator in Northern Europe

According to BYD’s official microblogging, recently, BYD and the largest bus operator in Northern Europe Nobina signed an order for 64 buses, the vehicles are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2023, in Norway Nedre Glomma area into operation.

The new order includes 40 12-meter and 24 15-meter pure electric buses. Both vehicles are equipped with BYD’s self-developed electric thermal management system, which is fully adapted to the extreme weather in Norway. At the same time, thanks to the new generation of lithium iron phosphate batteries and the six-in-one integrated controller assembly system, the safety and range of the buses are guaranteed. In addition, the bus uses new upgraded interior and exterior materials to provide passengers with a comfortable and environmentally friendly travel experience.

Since establishing the partnership with BYD in 2015, Nobina has operated more than 300 BYD electric buses in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. In 2021, BYD built the largest electric bus fleet in Finland’s history for Nobina, and in early 2022, BYD signed another order with Nobina for 30 buses, which will be put into operation in Helsinki by the end of the year.
