BYD Auto announced today that the pure electric coupe model BYD Seal is officially listed in Colombia, which is also after the dolphin, the local sales of the second marine network models.
According to the report, BYD entered Colombia in 2020, building its product lineup and sales channels with local partner Motorysa. Currently, BYD’s new-energy passenger car stores in the country have already covered four cities, namely Bogota, Medellin, Cali and Pereira, and a total of seven stores have been opened. According to its latest plan, it is expected to add 5 more stores by the end of this year.
The new car’s interior and exterior, power and other parameters are basically the same as those of the domestic models on sale, with a WLTC range of 520km, a zero hundred acceleration time of 3.8 seconds for the four-wheel drive performance version, and equipped with the iTAC intelligent torque control system.
Prior to the debut of the Seal model, BYD held the “El Cubo Motorysa” exhibition in the country’s capital, Bogota, with distributor Motorysa in March this year, where models such as the Song PLUS DM-i, Qin PLUS DM-i, the Dolphin, the Yuan PLUS EV, and the Han EV were unveiled.
The BYD Seal is gradually accelerating the pace of entering the Latin American market, the car was released in Sao Paulo, Brazil, earlier this month, with a price tag of 296,800 Brazilian reais (about 435,977 yuan). In the Brazilian market, BYD expects to set up 100 stores by the end of this year.
