BYD Seal launched in Macau, with acceleration of 0 to 100 in 3.8 seconds

On October 10, the “Speed Encounter – BYD Seal Launch Conference in Macau, China” was held at the Zhuhai International Circuit, marking the official launch of this model in Macau.

At the press conference, Liu Xueliang, general manager of BYD’s Pacific Auto Sales Division, said: “In the ten years since it entered the Macau market, BYD has been focusing on providing consumers with high-quality, high-performance and high-safety automotive products and excellent services. In 2022, BYD ATTO 3, BYD’s first new energy passenger car for the global market, will be launched in Macau. In August this year, BYD brought consumers in Macau a new model based on marine aesthetic design. The first model Dolphin allows more and more consumers to experience the driving pleasure brought by BYD’s new energy vehicles. The launch of BYD Seal is an important step for BYD in the Macau regional market.”

Mo Yingtao, CEO of BYD Macau New Energy Experience Center, officially announced the price information of Seal at the press conference. The price information of BYD’s Macau agent – Hedi New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. found that the price of BYD’s Seal luxury long-range version is HK$299,000 (currently about 279,000 RMB), and the price of the four-wheel drive performance version It is HKD 327,000 (currently approximately RMB 305,000).

BYD Seal is BYD’s world’s first mass-produced vehicle equipped with CTB battery body-integrated technology. This model is built on BYD’s e Platform 3.0, equipped with iTAC intelligent torque control system, and equipped with a blade battery with a capacity of 82.56 kWh.

In addition, BYD Seal’s front and rear dual motors can output 523 horsepower, accelerate from 0 to 100 seconds in 3.8 seconds, and have a WLTP cruising range of up to 520KM.
