In terms of styling, the Seagull continues part of the marine aesthetic design concept, with sharp angles. Parallel line type LED daytime running lights, and turn signals are located in the “eye corner”, in the middle are the far and near light integrated LED headlights, but also with automatic opening and closing and automatic far and near light functions. This small car has four exterior colour schemes, named “sprout green”, “extreme night black”, “peach pink”, and ” Warm sun white”, four colours with different styles. According to the declaration information, the length, width and height of the BYD Seagull are 3780/1715/1540 mm, and the wheelbase is 2500 mm.
In terms of interior design, the Seagull has a multi-functional sports-style steering wheel and a T-zone with wireless charging configuration for cell phones. The size of the center screen is 10.1 inches, supports automatic rotation, and is equipped with a DiLink operating system.
In terms of other features, the Seagull is equipped with front and passenger airbags and front and rear side air curtains, ESP electronic vehicle stability system, and EPB electronic parking as standard. The version test-driven is also equipped with an advanced intelligent driving assistance system, which includes adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and lane departure warning.
Based on BYD e platform 3.0, the Seagull is equipped with a new three-in-one electric motor with a maximum power of 55kW and a maximum torque of 135N・m. The range is provided in two versions, 305km and 405km, with corresponding battery capacities of 30.08kWh and 38.88kWh respectively.
