BYD launched the highly anticipated BYD ATTO 3 in the UAE on June 21, with a pre-sale price of 149,900 dirhams (Note: currently about 294,000 RMB), to further help the UAE achieve the “2050 Zero Emissions Strategic Goal”.

ATTO 3 is BYD’s first A-class trendy running SUV based on the e-platform 3.0. The drag coefficient of the vehicle is as low as 0.29, the acceleration from 100 kilometers to 7.3 seconds, and the maximum battery life can reach 420km (WLTP).

Huang Zhixue, general manager of BYD’s Middle East and Africa Auto Sales Department, said: “The UAE has a unique climate, so we deeply understand the importance of product localization for the local market. Last year, we conducted a series of high-temperature tests to ensure that BYD ATTO 3. It will perform at its best even in the region’s hot climate to ensure our users get the best possible driving experience.”

BYD officials also revealed that as of May 2023, BYD’s cumulative global sales of new energy vehicles have exceeded 4.3 million.
