BYD opened its new flagship showroom in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on November 22, and officially launched the pure electric model Han for the UAE market. The car adopts the unique “Long Yan” design language, integrating the solemn and majestic oriental artistic beauty.
It is noted that BYD’s new flagship showroom is located in Dubai Festival City Shopping Center, covering an area of approximately 800 square meters and was designed by the famous KKD Studio. Dominated by a palette of pure whites, grays and warm woods, the showroom is architecturally carefully designed around a conical skylight that not only serves as a visual focal point but also bathes the interior in natural light during the day and is illuminated by energy-efficient feature lighting at night.
Unique to the showroom are a 6-meter-high curved display that showcases the chassis frame, and digital information screens that let customers know about the unique features of each model. The exhibition hall has been open to the public since November 23.
BYD announced its cooperation with Al-Futtaim, the leading car dealer in the UAE, in March this year, and officially launched the BYD ATTO 3 to the local market in June.
As of October 2023, BYD’s global new energy vehicle sales have exceeded 5.7 million, and its new energy vehicle footprint has spread to more than 70 countries and regions around the world, in more than 400 cities.
