It was previously reported that the new BYD Frigate 07 will be officially launched in November this year, and the launch time is expected to be after the Guangzhou Auto Show. According to the official BYD store, the Yadi Frigate 07 has now officially rolled off the production line.
The car is a brand new model of BYD Ocean. It is positioned as a medium-sized SUV with a size of 4820/1920/1750mm and a wheelbase of 2820mm, which is larger than the Song PLUS DM-i, but slightly smaller than the Tang DM-i.
This model has already started pre-sale, which is divided into two power versions, and the pre-sale range is 220,000-280,000 yuan.
The Frigate 07 is the second model in the BYD warship series. It is similar to the sister car of the BYD Tang as a whole, but it has undergone a new design and fully utilizes the latest “marine aesthetics” design style, making it look more fashionable.
The new car has a uniquely shaped air intake grille on the front part of the car, and the blessing of chrome plating further enriches the car’s youthful texture. On both sides of the front of the car, there are also headlights composed of LED light sources for embellishment, providing better recognition at night.
In addition, the polygonal air intake grille is also equipped with luminous light sources and matrix LED headlights, which look very technological.
The side of the Frigate 07 adopts a relatively tough design style. The straight waistline extends from the headlights to the rear taillights. With wide-body wheel arch lines and hidden door handles, it is full of muscle and sporty temperament. At the same time, the car further creates a stylish and dynamic stance through the slightly slippery roof shape and the chrome trim on the window frame.
At the rear of the car, the Corvette 07 uses a two-stage spoiler and is equipped with a high-mounted brake light in the middle of the spoiler. The taillights of the car use a penetrating design similar to the BYD Han, which is officially called the wave swirl taillights.
BYD has not officially announced the interior of the car, but according to the leak, it is not much different from the Tang DM-i, equipped with an adaptive suspension Pad, and uses a small-sized full LCD instrument panel.
In terms of power, the car is equipped with a 1.5T DM4.0 super hybrid system, which is divided into two versions: DM-i and DM-p.
The maximum power of the new car’s 1.5T engine is 102kW, the peak power of the front/rear motors is 145kW/150kW, and it is equipped with iron phosphate blade batteries.
In addition, the Frigate 07 will also launch the DM-P model, which is the main performance. The maximum power of the front and rear dual motors of the car is 295kw, the peak torque is 656 Nm, and the acceleration time to 100 kilometers is 4.7 seconds.
In other respects, the new car will be equipped with DiLink 4.0 (5G) intelligent network connection system, HUD head-up display and face recognition functions.
