BYD Auto enters United Kingdom’s passenger car segment with BYD ATTO 3 officially opened for sale, starting at £ 36,490 (currently about RMB 303,000). The first four pioneer stores in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Milton Keynes will open in mid-March, and consumers can visit the stores to experience BYD’s new energy vehicle products.
The BYD ATTO 3, called Yuan PLUS in China, is officially priced at RMB 139,800-167,800 in China and has a range of around 510 kilometers.
BYD is currently undergoing a massive global expansion, having entered markets such as Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia and Japan.
According to the data, BYD sold 1,868,543 vehicles in 2022, an increase of 152.5% year-on-year, making it the No. 1 seller of new energy vehicles in the world. As BYD’s first model for the global market, BYD ATTO 3 will be exported to 40,014 units in 2022.
