BYD officials now announced the appearance of its compact pure electric sedan – 2023 BYD e2, at the same time announced that the car will be listed on April 6, and put on sale in the BYD marine network.

According to the introduction, the 2023 BYD e2 adopts the optimization and upgrading of the Ocean family style, such as the new closed front grille, and the BYD brand logo; both sides are decorated with narrow light clusters and three-section air inlets, and the whole car looks very smooth and dynamic. The rear of the car is designed with the current model’s running tail lights.

The new car adopts the e platform 3.0 eight-in-one electric powertrain and heat pump air conditioning; it is equipped with a 10.1/12.8-inch intelligent rotating PAD with 8.8-inch full LCD instrument combination, as well as the new DiLink intelligent network system and intelligent voice interaction, TPMS tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking radar and other functions.

In terms of body dimensions, the new car is 4260/1760/1530mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2610mm.
As for power, it will be equipped with an eight-in-one electric powertrain based on the e platform 3.0, an energy-efficient heat pump system that is standard across the range, and a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor with a maximum power of 70 kilowatts. There are no more details about the new car yet.
