In response to the question of “whether the company’s current stock orders to be delivered have declined”, BYD replied on the investor interaction platform today that since the release of the DM-i super hybrid and the launch of a series of models, BYD has the attention of consumers. Due to a large number of orders, the delivery of vehicles is relatively slow, and the waiting time is currently long, so we apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers.
BYD said that the company is currently actively arranging and deploying to accelerate the increase in production capacity of related models, and is committed to bringing consumers a more pleasant car buying experience.
BYD’s new energy passenger vehicles currently include DM and EV routes. Judging from the October sales data, BYD sold 114,361 DM models and 103,157 EV models in October.
Overall, BYD’s sales of new energy vehicles in October reached 217,800, a year-on-year increase of 168.9%, compared with 81,000 in the same period last year; sales of new energy vehicles from January to October were 1,402,900, a year-on-year increase of 158.52%.
In addition, when talking about overseas automobile production plants, BYD pointed out that the company signed a contract with WHA Weihua Group Volkswagen Co., Ltd. on September 8 this year, officially signing an agreement related to land subscription and factory construction. This marks the official landing of BYD’s first overseas passenger car factory wholly invested in Thailand.
