Following the BYD Han, Tang, and Yuan model launches in March, BYD’s fourth pure electric model, the Dolphin, was officially launched in Mexico, priced at 535,990 pesos.
BYD Dolphin is the first mass-produced pure electric model equipped with e-platform 3.0. It has a built-in 44.9 kWh blade battery and can travel 405km (NEDC) when fully charged. Under fast charging conditions, it only takes 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. ;The length, width and height are 4125/1770/1570 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2700mm.
The interior of BYD Dolphin is equipped with a 12.8-inch adaptive rotating touch screen, the seats use Forvia Faurecia’s newly developed Dragon III structural platform, and the door handles are inspired by dolphin fins.
In addition, BYD’s 500,000th Dolphin was officially rolled off the production line on September 22, and a “commemorative edition” model was launched at the same time, priced as follows:

The Dolphin Commemorative Edition has an exclusive paint scheme of Delan Black + Heatwave Crimson, and is equipped with a sports appearance package. The roof, wheel arches, side skirts and front hood are all black, and there is also an exclusive commemorative logo inside the car. The semi-enclosed rims are also painted in red and black.
