The REVOLUTION 2023 auto show was held at the National Stadium in St. Andrew, Jamaica. BYD unveiled 5 new energy models: BYD Han, Tang, ATTO 3, Dolphin, and e6.
It is noted that BYD plans to open more than 10 dealership stores in the Caribbean in the future, covering Cayman, Curacao, Barbados, Aruba, Antigua, St. Lucia, Guyana and Suriname, Jamaica, Trini areas such as Darfur and Tobago.
It is worth mentioning that BYD partnered with ATL Automotive in June to promote the electrification of transportation in the Caribbean. BYD’s cooperation plans with ATL include the establishment of BYD showrooms.
The initial phase will see the opening of two showrooms in Jamaica, specifically in Kingston and Montego Bay. Among them, the Kingston showroom serves as an “experience center” and will display BYD’s upcoming models and technologies.
As of October 2023, BYD’s cumulative sales of new energy vehicles have exceeded 5.7 million units, covering more than 70 countries and regions on six continents around the world.
