August 1, local time on August 1, BYD announced a partnership with European dealer group Hedin Mobility to provide new energy vehicle products for the Swedish and German markets.
According to reports, a number of pioneer stores in Sweden and Germany will be officially opened in October this year.
In the Swedish market, as BYD’s passenger car distribution and dealership partner, Hedin Mobility Group will open offline stores in several cities.
In the German market, BYD will work together with Hedin Mobility Group to select a number of local high-quality dealers to cover a number of regions in Germany.
BYD has previously been extensively involved in overseas markets.
At the end of last year, BYD announced the delivery of the first five new generation 12-meter electric buses to DB Regio Bus, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn, and the vehicles are now in operation in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
In March, Swedish freight technology company Einride recently announced the purchase of a cumulative total of 200 heavy-duty, all-electric tractor units of the 8TT from BYD.
