BYD and LEAL Group reach cooperation to jointly provide new energy passenger vehicles

BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd. recently announced a cooperation with LEAL Group, a car dealership group in Mauritius, which will jointly provide new energy passenger car products for the Mauritius market.

The data shows that BYD’s new energy vehicle footprint currently covers more than 70 countries and regions around the world and more than 400 cities; in the first half of 2022, BYD’s new energy vehicle sales exceeded 640,000 units, a year-on-year increase of more than 300%.

BYD said that it has served more than 2.9 million car owners so far, and has been the sales champion of new energy passenger vehicles in China for 9 consecutive years.

It is reported that BYD’s new energy buses and vans have landed in the Mauritius market. In the future, BYD will cooperate with LEAL Group to release a variety of new energy passenger vehicles in Mauritius.

As one of the largest new energy vehicle manufacturers in China, data shows that BYD Auto sold 217,816 units in October, a year-on-year increase of 142.2%; passenger car sales reached 217,518 units, a year-on-year increase of 144.7%; overseas sales of new energy passenger vehicles totaled 9,529 units.
