According to Notebookcheck, Bose’s recently launched QuietComfort Earbuds II true wireless headphones will support aptX Lossless transmission via a software update.

Bose QuietComfort II’s aptX Lossless support is reportedly expected to be updated via software in the spring of 2023, and Bose has not yet provided an exact date for delivery of the feature.

Qualcomm released a Bluetooth audio codec called aptX Lossless, which is claimed to provide CD-quality sound via Bluetooth. aptX Lossless Bluetooth audio codec can transmit 16-bit 44.1kHz audio via Bluetooth.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II active noise canceling wireless Bluetooth headphones were launched in China in September this year, with a debut of 2299 yuan and a current price of 2199 yuan in Jingdong. The headphones support Bose CustomTune sound calibration technology. Once the headphones are removed from the charging case, audio playback can begin and the ear canal will be measured to create the best noise-canceling experience. In addition, the technology can be tailored to specific frequencies, adapting to the surrounding environment to vary active noise cancellation, and each headset is equipped with four microphones.
