BOE exclusive to Vivo X Flip: new generation Q9 luminescent material

Vivo released its first top and bottom folding product Vivo X Flip phone, using BOE’s exclusive supply of flexible OLED internal and external dual screens.

This time, BOE provided high-end flexible OLED display technology solutions for the vivo X Flip series, and equipped with BOE’s ultra-thin flexible glass cover (UTG) technology, which enhances the hardness and bendability of the folding screen, making the screen thinner and lighter while more resistant to damage.

The inner screen of the Vivo X Flip is equipped with BOE’s 6.74-inch OLED flexible folding screen, which uses a water-drop folding and bending solution and remains flat after bending and unfolding.

By using BOE’s adaptive LTPO dynamic refresh technology, the Vivo X Flip series can achieve an intelligent dynamic adjustment of the refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz, enabling adaptive screen refresh for different scenes according to the display screen.

In addition, the BOE’s flexible screen with 240Hz touch sampling rate also enhances the screen’s touch response speed, making the screen more fluid and lag-free.

In terms of image quality, both the inner and outer screens of the Vivo X Flip series use BOE’s new generation Q9 luminescent material. The inner screen is equipped with BOE’s unique pixel arrangement, which optimises the underlying logic structure of the pixel display and upgrades the colour display to the highest level; at the same time, it adopts BOE’s wide colour gamut technology, with a peak brightness of 1200nit.

In terms of eye protection, the inner screen of the Vivo X Flip is equipped with BOE’s ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming technology, which improves the dimming frequency and reduces the potential harm to the eyes from the screen strobe even in dim light conditions. It also reduces the percentage of harmful blue light on the screen by optimising the core light-emitting structural unit in the screen.

In terms of configuration, the Vivo X Flip is equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip with LPDDR5 memory + UFS 3.1 flash memory; the external screen is a 3.0-inch 682 x 422 resolution AMOLED screen covered with Schott’s brilliant alpha glass and is compatible with more than 30 applications, including Jitterbit and Xiaohongshu; the internal screen is a 6.74-inch 2520 x 1080 resolution 120Hz refresh rate (LTPO) AMOLED screen, BOE blue diamond arrangement, covered with Schott UTG super tough glass, support 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, using self-developed water drop hinge, support multi-angle hovering, through the Rhine 500,000 times folding worry-free certification; built-in 4400mAh battery, support 44W wired fast charging, magic mirror external screen can achieve 10% power 10.28 It also features a Z-axis linear motor, NFC support, Bluetooth 5.3 and more. it
