Recently, BMW officially released a preview image of the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X concept car, which will be officially released on March 21. It can be seen as a preview version of the new generation of BMW iX3, code-named NA5. It is the first mass-produced model of BMW’s latest Neue Klasse new-generation platform (launched in 2025). It will be first put into production in Hungary in July 2025. According to previous reports, after this car, BMW will also launch 5 pure electric models based on the Neue Klasse platform.

The first official teaser image of the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X concept car focuses on its dashboard. The irregular-shaped infotainment display is exactly the same as the Vision Neue Klasse concept car released last year (a preview version of the new BMW 3 Series pure electric car). The BMW Panoramic Vision head-up display is located at the bottom of the windshield. In addition, the center console of Vision Neue Klasse X also has its own unique features, such as the use of ultra-thin air conditioning vents and a new interior color scheme of white/orange.

According to previously exposed prototype car spy photos, it is expected that the BMW Vision Neue Klasse X will retain the design of the concept car to the greatest extent after mass production, using a wide double-kidney grille. From the side of the body, the car overall looks more slender than the current iX3. It is expected to have a more spacious interior space and uses a hidden door handle design to further reduce wind resistance. At the rear of the car, only a spoiler can be seen on the roof.

In terms of power, the newly developed electronic and electrical architecture, high-performance electric drive and battery system are the highlights of the car. Specifically, it uses the sixth-generation BMW eDrive electric drive technology (800V), and will enable what is called NCAR ( New Cluster Architecture) instead of the current CLAR and FAAR architecture. The next-generation lithium-ion battery it carries is expected to be smaller and lighter, with a range of up to 800 kilometers (500 miles) and charging speeds that are 30% faster.
