The blue halberd announced that its sharp dazzling A380 graphics card will debut DP 2.0 (UHBR 10 specification) interface.
The A380 Photon 6G OC has four interfaces, including three DP2.0 interfaces and one HDMI2.0, of which the DP2.0 interface is the UHBR 10 specification, but there are currently no DP2.0 displays available on the market for testing, so it can only play the previous version of DP2.0 – DP1.4 bandwidth capability. The UHBR 10 specification is not available for testing.
The DP 2.0 UHBR10 has a raw bandwidth of 40Gbps and an effective bandwidth of 38.69Gbps, compared to 32.4Gbps for DP1.4. The DP interface on the A380 Photon can output up to 8k30hz or 4k120hz. In the future, when DP2.0 displays are available, the A380 Photon will be able to output 8K 60hz HDR uncompressed displays, or dual 4K 144hz displays.
IT Home has learned that DP2.0 is available in HBR10, UHBR13.5 and UHBR20, with HBR10 at 40Gbps, less than HDMI 2.1’s 48Gbps, and UHBR20 at a full 80Gbps.
