Overwatch 2 executive producer Jared Neuss (Jared Neuss) in a recently released blog post, said developers Blizzard has plans to improve the game’s reward and progress system. In addition, the blog post also said that since the second season, Blizzard will offer a free skin at every future event and continue to promote Twitch Drops.

One of the most criticized points of Overwatch 2 since its launch is the high price of the game’s heroes, the small amount of currency that can be earned each week, and the overall lack of a game-centric reward mechanism. So Blizzard’s improvements to the rewards and progress system are believed to make many players happy.

Another point revealed in the blog post is that since the start of the second season of Overwatch 2, Blizzard will ensure that every game event has a free event skin, as well as aspects such as sound effects and weapon decorations.

In addition, the developer will continue to offer Twitch Drops so fans can continue to watch Watch Dogs 2 events live. Season 2 is scheduled to begin on December 6, 2022, and Blizzard is predicted to offer a free event skin at this year’s Winter Wonderland event.
