Diablo 4 once released has achieved great success, less than 7 days after the sale of revenue of more than 650 million U.S. dollars (currently about RMB 4.699 billion), has become Blizzard’s “best-selling game of all time”.
Pic Pay, the official gift card retailer in Brazil, has a banner advertisement in its app that shows Diablo 4 can be played through an Xbox Game Pass subscription, but the advertisement has been removed since it was revealed, and some netizens have speculated that Diablo 4 will be coming to XGP in the near future.
In response, Blizzard President Mike Ybarra stated bluntly that “that’s not going to happen.”
Blizzard Entertainment also released specific sales figures for Diablo 4 last month.
Diablo 4 reportedly sold over $666 million (currently about RMB 4,749 million) within five days of its official release on June 6th. Apparently, that $666 million figure is an echo of the game’s Hell and Lilith theme. In reality, the game’s sales are likely to be much higher than that. Blizzard says the game is still the fastest-selling game in its history, both in terms of unit sales and sales.
Additionally, Diablo 4 is also the No. 1 game on Twitch and has remained No. 1 since June 1, when the sneak preview began.
