BenQ Launched HT6550L Projector, Customized for High-End AV Rooms

BenQ announced the launch of the HT6550L, a home theater machine for customized professional audio-visual rooms. According to officials, this is a new generation laser home cinema projector that pursues the best balance among dynamic black level, precise light control and true color three-dimensional matrix, and strives to bring an immersive 4K HDR viewing experience.

An introduction to the BenQ HT6550L projector is as follows:

Unlike ordinary home projections and most micro projectors, the BenQ HT6550L is specially tailored for high-end audio-visual rooms with a depth of more than 5 meters and a professional darkroom viewing environment. It can meet DCI / THX digital film and television industry standards under a 150-inch 1.0 standard gain screen, while covering 100% of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut and providing primary color level color accuracy (ΔE<2).

BenQ HT6550L is equipped with a new generation of SSI Dynamic Black full-area dynamic black level technology, which allows the laser light source to have a 100%-40% range adjustment, making the bright and dark contrast more prominent when the picture scene is switched. Not only that, the HT6550L also uses an all-glass optical lens with a smaller F2.1~F3 aperture setting than before, supplemented by exclusive black coating technology, which can effectively reduce the internal diffuse reflection of the optical machine and ensure dark At the same time, the field black level has excellent purity and detail performance.

HT6550L adopts mature laser solid-state light source technology with a brightness of 2800 lumens. In P3 wide color gamut mode, its brightness can reach 1900 lumens. At the same time, the HT6550L also supports the HDR10+ viewing mode, and can turn on the P3 wide color gamut mode by default based on the HDR film source.

Users can directly control the 1.6X electric zoom lens through the remote control to achieve image zooming and precise focusing, and can project a 150-inch image within 5 meters, a 200-inch image within 6.7 meters, and a 300-inch image within 10 meters.
