According to a CCTV report, a new 12nm process chip from BDStar will be launched soon.

According to CCTV, BDStar will launch a self-developed 12nm chip at the end of the year, with a power consumption of about 10mW, which may be one of the world’s lowest-power positioning chips and can be used in a watch without changing the battery for 15 days.

Beidou Xingtong is currently accelerating the development and planning of future new products, including: next-generation chips for integrated PNT applications, supporting access to multiple information sources such as GNSS and low-orbit satellites, cloud-core integrated optimization design, and high-precision positioning chips for high-level autonomous driving needs and meeting safety requirements for vehicle functions.

In 2020, Beidou released a 22nm Beidou high-precision positioning chip, which for the first time realized the integration of baseband + RF + high-precision algorithm on a single chip, supported on-chip RTK, and met the requirements of vehicle regulations, and made breakthrough progress in performance, size and power consumption compared with the previous generation of chips.
