AYANEO has now released the AYANEO AIR series of OLED handhelds, up to the AMD R7 5825U, which will be available soon. In the fourth quarter of this year, AYANEO will also release several R7 6800U-powered handhelds, including the AYANEO 2, the AYANEO SLIDE slider handheld, and the AYANEO FLIP flip handheld announced today.
AYANEO FLIP’s full appearance has not yet been announced and is expected to be still under design. From the naming, this handheld uses a flip display and the screen size is expected to be 7 inches.
IT House has reported that earlier this month, AYANEO has now announced the AYANEO 2 series of handhelds, divided into two models, AYANEO 2 and AYANEO 2 GEEK, the latter positioned more pro-people.
Officially, the AYANEO 2 and AYANEO 2 GEEK handhelds feature a 7-inch screen with 800p and 1200p options, a Raider 6000U series CPU, up to AMD R7 6800U, 16GB of RAM as standard, and SSD options from 512GB to 2TB. The AYANEO 2 GEEK is priced from $4099 for the 6600U configuration and from $4788 for the 6800U configuration.
The AMD R7 6800U is equipped with powerful core graphics and is ideal for handhelds. It is expected that AYANEO, GPD, OneBook and other manufacturers will launch a number of handheld models with this processing within this year.
