The FAW Audi RS e-tron GT pure electric sports car will start pre-sale on November 15. It is a high-performance sports version of the e-tron GT, which is also based on the J1 platform like the Porsche Taycan.
The Audi RS e-tron GT continues the design of the e-tron GT in terms of styling but has been further improved in terms of performance configuration.
The new car is equipped with permanent magnet synchronous motors on the front and rear axles, and a two-speed gearbox on the rear axle, enabling the vehicle to have a maximum output of 440kW, 599 horsepower, and a maximum torque of 830N·m.
The 0-100km/h acceleration time of this model is 3.3 seconds, and the top speed is 250km/h, equipped with a 93kWh battery pack, the WLTP battery life is 488km, and it also supports 11kW AC fast charging.
Audi also announced on November 11 that this model broke the lap record of mass-produced electric cars at the Zhejiang International Circuit with 1:41.693, and won the honor of “the fastest mass-produced electric car” in the Zhejiang competition.
In addition, this model has matrix LED headlights as standard, and LED laser headlights are optional. The new car is 4990mm long, 1960mm wide, 1410mm high and has a wheelbase of 2900mm. Its trunk volume is 405 liters, the front luggage compartment volume is 81 liters, and the drag coefficient is 0.24.
