At the Sixth Import Expo, Audi brought the new Q6 e-tron model, which is Audi’s first model based on the PPE platform.
According to reports, the Audi FAW New Energy Factory has also broken ground and plans to enter the pre-production stage next year. It is expected that this new model will also roll off the assembly line at the Audi PPE factory in Changchun.
The model made its debut at the Munich Motor Show in September this year and the interior design was revealed. It adopts a new design style and is equipped with a curved MMI interactive system composed of an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit panoramic display + a 14.5-inch OLED touch screen. The co-pilot is equipped with a digital cockpit composed of a 10.9-inch display screen.
In addition, the new car has a new unified in-vehicle infotainment platform built in, which is based on the Android in-vehicle system. It is worth mentioning that the car is also equipped with a 10.9-inch display screen in front of the passenger seat, and the screen also supports active privacy mode with anti-peep function.
On inquiry it is found that the length, width and height of the new car are 4805/1895/1635mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2850mm. It is expected to be slightly lengthened after being introduced into the country.
Thanks to the new PPE pure electric platform, the internal space utilization of the Audi Q6 e-tron is higher. The boot offers 527 liters of storage space, increasing to 1529 liters with the rear seats folded down.
In terms of power, Audi Q6 e-tron will launch two models: 55 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron. The 55 e-tron has a cruising range of up to 600+km under WLTP operating conditions, and the SQ6 e-tron has a cruising range of up to 600+km under WLTP operating conditions. The cruising range can reach 500+km.
In terms of battery, the new car will be equipped with a 100kWh battery pack and equipped with an 800V platform. The maximum charging power can reach 270kW. It takes about 30 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80%.
