Audi’s cheapest pure electric SUV model, the Q4 E-Tron, was recently launched, and its four models are, priced at 29.99-377,100 yuan. The car is the first model of the FAW-Volkswagen Audi family based on the MEB pure electric platform. Some friends may mention the Q2 E-Tron, as oil to electricity. It does not deserve to be included in the Audi pure electric family, so it will be ignored here.
Q4 E-Tron is located in the compact SUV, body size 4588 * 1865 * 1626 mm, wheelbase 2765 mm, and FAW-Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ similar, in fact, the two originally from the same platform, can be seen as a “refined version” of the Volkswagen ID.4.
Its style is not much changed from the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show debut, the front still uses a hexagonal closed grille design, and the two sides use sharper headlights.
The side features a double waistline design with a short overhang and long axle ratio, which is also in line with the characteristics of the MEB pure electric platform. The rear is also relatively simple, using the through-tail lights and dark rear surrounds to effectively divide the visual level of the rear.
The interior features a full LCD instrument panel and a four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and the center screen is an inline structure and biased to the driver’s side, conforming to ergonomic features and creating a more sci-fi cockpit atmosphere.
In terms of assisted driving functions, the Audi Q4 E-Tron is equipped with a total of three-millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, one front view camera, and four surround view cameras, providing functions such as lateral assist, safe departure warning, rear cross-flow assist, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise assist, and traffic jam assist.
Power, the Q4 E-Tron on the market is divided into two versions, the tail label for 40 E-Tron and 50 E-Tron Quattro, 40 power for a single motor layout, maximum power of 150 kW, peak torque 310 Nm, 84.8 kWh battery corresponding to CLTC range of 605 km.
The 50 E-Tron Quattro 4WD version uses front and rear motors with a combined power of 230 kW, peak torque of 472 Nm and 84.8 kWh battery corresponding to a CLTC range of 543 km.
It is worth noting that the new car supports DC fast charging across the board, with a maximum power of 100 kW and a supplementary range of 100 km in 10 minutes of charging.
Other than that, Q4 E-Tron’s face value is really higher than SAIC Q5 E-Tron, at least look not so twisted, less than 300,000 starting price will also be head-on Tesla Model Y, so, between these two cars, you will make what choice?
