ASUS officially unveiled a number of products including the Zenbook 13 2023, Zenbook X Ultra, Zenbook X Dual Screen Pro 2023, ProArt Tron 16 2023 and Fearless Pro 16 2023. We’ll give you a brief introduction to the new Zenbook X Ultra laptops below.
In terms of configuration, the new Zenbook X Ultra is equipped with the 13th generation Intel Core i9-13905H standard-voltage processor, uses the SoM ASUS SuperSpeed system module, has a 3.2K 120Hz touchscreen, is complemented by RTX 4080 light tracking solo graphics, ASUS Glacier Pro cooling architecture, has 185W of overall performance release, the original ASUS Dial ASUS knob, plus 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, and a debut price of RMB 26,999.

You might be a little surprised to see this i9-13905H. In fact, it’s a new chip package for laptops from ASUS and Intel called Supernova SoM, which combines the CPU with LPDDR5X memory.
The Intel Core i9-13905H standard-voltage processor has 7467MHz LPDDR5X memory, while the processor itself is a 6-performance core, 8 energy efficient core, 20 thread design with up to 5.4GHz RWD and 24MB of Level 3 cache.

According to the introduction, SoM can combine Intel’s 13th generation CPU chip and LPDDR5X memory together to form a complete package, reducing the PCB area from the original 5060mm package to the current 4244.7mm package.
With this package technology, the CPU, memory particles and communication modules are highly integrated, reducing the core area of the motherboard by 38% and improving the overall thermal efficiency of the system. In addition, the SoM reduces the distance between the CPU and memory compared to traditional packaging technology, allowing higher-frequency memory to be run.

As for the screen, the new Zenbook X Ultra also features a 16-inch 3.2K OLED screen with a 16:10 ratio and a response time as low as 0.2 ms, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate to dramatically reduce ghosting. At the same time, the 100% P3 colour gamut coverage and Pantone colour desk-by-desk colour correction make for an accurate and distortion-free display. Thanks to the outstanding features of the OLED panel, the Zenbook X Ultra boasts a peak screen brightness of up to 550nits, which has earned it DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
In terms of design, the Zenbook X Ultra features a CNC molded body that is a whopping 16.9mm thin at its thinnest point and a built-in AAS Ultra wind tunnel cooling structure that automatically raises the keyboard area by 7° when the cover is opened. The Aura X Ultra features a large touchpad underneath the keyboard and an original ASUS knob for deep adaptation to Adobe Creative content.
Other features include 6 speakers, a large 96Wh battery and ports for Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1. The new model is not yet available on e-commerce platforms.
