ASUS officially announced today that it will launch new Z790 series products on October 16th.
Judging from the poster, ASUS will launch at least three motherboards by then, most likely the three Z790 motherboards that have been unveiled overseas and support Wi-Fi 7 and 14th generation Core processors.
In August this year, ASUS released three Z790 motherboards at Cologne, including the flagship model ROG Maximus Z790 DARK HERO as well as the new Raptor and TUF models.
The above three motherboards were launched to welcome Intel’s new Core 14th generation desktop processors and are equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 7 wireless network cards. This series of Z790 motherboards will be available alongside Intel Core 14th-generation desktop processors.
The flagship model ROG Maximus Z790 DARK HERO is equipped with a 20+1 phase power supply solution, with one PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot and four PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, equipped with dual Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C interfaces.
According to reports, the Wi-Fi 7 network cards of this series of motherboards are Intel Gale Peak 2 “BE200” and Killer 1750X and also bring Bluetooth 5.4 support.
