According to ezone reports, ASUS showcased the latest RT-BE96U Wi-Fi 7 router at the Taipei Computer Show 2023 and tested it with Intel’s B200 Wi-Fi 7 platform.

According to reports, at the Taipei Computer Show, the testers used the ASUS RT-BE96U router and the Intel Wi-Fi 7 platform BE200 (Gale Peak 2) to conduct a network test, and the speed reached 4.1GHz, which is faster than the previous Wi-Fi 6E standard. 2Gbps is twice as fast.
According to an earlier report, ASUS officially released this router at CES earlier this year. RT-BE96U meets the BE19000 specification and supports 2.4G, 5G and 6G tri-band. The performance of each frequency band is as follows:
WiFi 7 (802.11be) (2.4Ghz): 1376 Mbps
WiFi 7 (802.11be) (5Ghz): 5764 Mbps
WiFi 7 (802.11be) (6Ghz): 11529 Mbps
In other respects, this router is equipped with dual 10G network ports, equipped with 2GB of memory and 256MB of flash memory and the processor specifications have not yet been announced.
