Asus ROG Phone 6 is roaming around the corners and isn’t too far from being getting launched officially. The launch event is all set to host on July 5th, 2022. It is obviously going to be a gaming and performance-oriented smartphone. We have plenty of time left for the official launch and now, before that, the renders of the device have leaked online.
ASUS ROG Phone 6 renders; gaming-oriented looks
EvLeaks on Twitter has shared the renders of the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 6 in two different colour variants. From the front, there isn’t any major difference compared to its predecessor. The side bezels are slim and the top and bottom chin are slightly thicker. The thicker chins are necessary for avoiding accidental touch issues while gaming.
The brand has slightly updated the design when viewed from the back. With three cameras and a single LED flash, the camera setup has a slightly different design. Since gaming phones don’t focus on having impressive cameras, we shouldn’t expect them to be. Additionally, the rear panel features an incredible RGB setup that can be further customised to suit individual needs. On the left side of the product, a vertical print of the brand’s logo can be seen.
Only the white and black colour options will reportedly be offered for the device, and the renders confirm this. A USB port and a SIM slot are located on the left side of the device. Gaming triggers, power on/off, and volume controls are located on the right. Surprisingly, the device’s bottom frame does include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a second USB charging port.
ROG Phone 6 specifications (rumoured)
It will be powered by the most recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, along with perhaps 16GB of RAM, according to the specifications. It will have an upgraded AMOLED screen that can support a staggering 165Hz high refresh rate. A 6,000mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging support will be included. More information about the device’s specifications has not yet been officially released.
