Asus ROG new MAXIMUS Z790 series of high-end motherboards in the DARK HERO model is now listed, priced at $ 700 (currently about RMB 5117).
This series of motherboards supports Intel’s upcoming Core 14-generation processors as well as older 13-generation and 12-generation processors with the Z790 chipset. The motherboard has four memory slots supporting 192GB of DDR5 memory at 8000 MT/s or higher, two PCIe 5.0 16 slots and one PCIe 4.04 slot, and five M.2 slots, one of which supports PCIe 5.0.
In terms of interfaces, the motherboard’s back IO panel includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, six USB (10Gbps) ports, four USB (5Gbps) ports, an HDMI port, a 2.5G network port, and Wi-Fi 7 support for wireless networking.
ROG has now announced that it will be releasing its new Z790 motherboard on October 16th at 21:00, and judging by the poster it should be releasing 4 high-end motherboards in the Maximus series.
