We are ready to welcome a new monitor into the computing space and it is the ASUS PA27DCE ProArt. A few specifications of this monitor leaked from ASUS a few days ago, and it features a 27-inch OLED display. The company might advertise this monitor specifically for curators out there (graphics designers, video editors, etc).
This 27-inch ASUS monitor comes with an up-to-date delta e<1 colour accuracy. It can as well display 10-bit colour depth with a 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and smooth gradation. To aid in better designing or curating activities on the monitor, it comes with an anti-fingerprint and anti-glare coating.
In similarity to other ASUS ProArt monitors, the coming 27-inch monitor will come with a high refresh rate. They will also feature the ProArt Preset and ProArt Palette with adjustable colour parameters. For ports on this monitor, it’d feature a mini display port, display port, HDMI, dual-link, and up to four USB 3.0 ports. It will also come with an ergonomic stand, that is adjustable to suit a user’s viewing pleasure. Asides curating activities this monitor is also ideal for gaming and viewing content thanks to its 4K screen resolution.
At this time, there is little information regarding this monitor, but it is launch soon. It might follow the pricing of similar monitors that are already on the market from companies like LG. The actual pricing and availability of the ASUS PA27DCE ProArt will be made known by ASUS in the coming weeks.
