According to Italian news media Bits and Chips, ASUS has started developing the ROG NUC to replace Intel’s NUC 13 Extreme (Raptor Canyon).
As shown in the picture above, Raptor Canyon is Intel’s most powerful NUC host, and it is also the last generation, equipped with 13th-generation Core desktop processors. Not long ago, Intel announced that it has reached an agreement with ASUS, a global technology solutions provider, to license ASUS to manufacture, sell and support the NUC system product line equipped with the 10th to 13th generation Core processors, and to develop future NUC system models.
According to the source, the ROG NUC may use Intel’s latest mobile version of the Meteor Lake processor, and the graphics card may use the RTX 4070.
According to previous reports, ROG has launched the ASUS ROG Ice Blade X mini host this year, with a 10L body design and optional i9-13900KF + RTX 40 graphics cards. It is very likely that the ROG NUC will adopt a similar design.
