ASUS updated the power supply recommendation table for Nvidia RTX 40 series and AMD RX 7000 series graphics cards, both top graphics cards need to be equipped with at least 850W power supply.
According to ASUS’s recommendation table, Nvidia RTX 4090 and AMD RX 7900 XTX need at least 850W power supply when paired with Intel i5 and AMD Ryzen 5 processors, and at least 1200W power supply when paired with Intel HEDT and AMD thread tearers.
Nvidia RTX 4080 and RX 7900 XT need at least 750W power supply with Intel i5 and AMD Ryzen 5 processors at least, and at least 1000W power supply with Intel HEDT and AMD thread tearer.
At present, the lower-model new graphics cards of Intel and AMD have not been released, and ASUS has not given other information, which is only for the reference of users who currently want to install them.
Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics cards will go on sale today, with a suggested retail price starting at 9,499 CNY. Nvidia has announced 15 RTX 4080 models, but none of them are listed. The price is expected to be announced today.
