ASUS today announced the SmartO Mouse MD200, an ergonomic wireless mouse with features including ASUS antimicrobial shield, self-flexing carrying loop, 4200 dpi optical sensor, long-lasting micro-motion and 100% PTFE mouse feet. Connected to devices via RF 2.4GHz or Bluetooth 5.0, the SmartO Mouse MD200 can connect three devices via Bluetooth for easy multitasking.
The intuitive Armoury Crate software enables a variety of customization options, including adjusting sensitivity levels and polling rates, and it allows users to view battery levels.
The concealed carrying loop on the body fits effortlessly over the user’s finger, which makes it especially useful when moving from the workstation to the conference room, and can also be used to hang the mouse for a neater workstation when not in use. the SmartO Mouse MD200 also includes a thumb rest on the left side to ensure hand comfort for extended use. ASUS’ self-developed Antibacterial Guard antimicrobial protective coating has passed the ISO 22196 international standard and received the Society for Industrial Technology Antimicrobial Article Approval (SIAA).
The SmartO Mouse MD200 features a 4200 dpi optical sensor that allows it to track accurately on any surface, including glass, in addition to a gaming-grade 100% polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) mouse foot that ensures a smooth glide.
The micro-action used in the SmartO Mouse MD200 is rated to withstand around 10 million clicks, which is three times the lifespan of a traditional office mouse. In addition, the integrated power-saving technology lasts up to one year on just one AA battery.
The ASUS SmartO Mouse MD200 has six customizable buttons that can be programmed with Armoury Crate software for one-touch screenshots, keyboard functions, Windows shortcuts, and more. Users can use Armoury Crate for additional customization to suit their preferences or work scenarios, as well as adjust DPI settings, check battery levels, view software updates, and more.
