ASRock Releases First Phantom Gaming Monitor with Integrated Wi-Fi Antenna

ASRock, an industry-renowned board and small PC manufacturer is now entering the new gaming monitor space with the launch of the new Phantom Gaming series. The first two monitors are the 27-inch PG27FF1A and the 34-inch PG34WQ15R2B, which are designed for fast-paced gaming genres such as FPS and RCG.

As a serious decision, ASRock clearly wants to perfectly embody its brand philosophy with the Phantom Gaming product line, which is dedicated to developing monitors that combine performance, quality, stability, compatibility, and durability with unique designs.

Our goal is to create a comprehensive lineup of gaming products,” said Chris Lee, Vice President of ASRock’s Motherboard and Gaming Display Business Unit. And with the introduction of Phantom Gaming monitors, ASRock has provided another reliable and high-performance new option for gamers”.

In terms of specifications, the PG34WQ15R2B and PG27FF1A feature a high refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time as low as 1 ms. In addition, the Phantom Gaming series monitors support HDR, no-flicker screen, FreeSync Premium and other technologies to provide gamers with a stunning gaming experience.

More surprising, though, is the first PG34WQ15R2B model to have a built-in Wi-Fi antenna. For PC gamers who keep their consoles under the table, this means they can try to avoid having their wireless network signal blocked by other objects.

In addition, the antenna provides up to 7 Dbi of peak gain, which greatly improves the PC’s Wi-Fi signal and helps gamers enjoy a smooth and lag-free gaming experience.

The ergonomically designed multi-functional stand supports tilt, height and swivel adjustments for gamers and enthusiasts to find the best viewing angle with more flexibility.

In terms of ports, the monitor offers a DisplayPort with 165 Hz refresh rate support and two HDMI 2.0 ports that can be connected to a gaming console or used as a secondary screen.
