ASRock officially launches X670E series motherboards: covering entry to high-end

ASRock has announced the AMD X670E series motherboards, which support AMD AM5 processors with the latest DDR5 and PCIe Gen5 technologies. The first wave of X670E motherboards includes a lineup from entry to high-end, with a special 20th-anniversary model – X670E Taichi Carrara.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary, ASRock has put a new coat of X670E Taichi – Carrara Marble, symbolizing the resilience and elegance of the Taichi spirit, and launched the X670E Taichi Carrara 20th anniversary special model. The special part is that a Carrara textured cooling fan will be included with the box so that gamers can have a more thematic feel to their consoles.

Both the X670E Steel Legend and X670E Pro RS feature a server-grade 8-layer PCB that maximizes overclockability and helps to dissipate heat from the motherboard, ensuring that the motherboard maintains relatively low temperatures even during extended periods of high-performance operation.

Both motherboards are capable of supporting PCIe 5.0 graphics cards and M.2 SSDs and can support up to 4 M.2 SSDs, allowing users to expand their hard drives at any time. In addition, both motherboards are equipped with Dragon 2.5G LAN chipset and Wi-Fi 6E chipset, providing the best quality network connectivity and enhanced connectivity for Bluetooth devices.

The X670E PG Lightning is a new series from ASRock’s gaming brand Phantom Gaming, aiming to provide gamers with the most gaming-friendly motherboard on a relatively limited budget. The X670E PG Lightning is equipped with a 14+2+1 phase SPS digital power supply and 8-layer PCB, and supports the new generation PCIe 5.0 graphics card and SSD, providing gamers with the best preparation for computing and reading and writing.

The AMD Ryzen 7000 processor will be available on September 27, and this series of motherboards is expected to be available at the same time.
