With the popularity of home wireless networks, PC DIY enthusiasts are increasingly inclined to buy motherboard products with integrated Wi-Fi adapters. But for those customers who want to upgrade to the latest wireless network standard, it is difficult to find the favorite Bluetooth 5.2 + Wi-Fi 6E wireless network adapter on the market. The good news is that ASRock has just brought a brand new option to AMD/Intel motherboard customers.

It should be noted that the Intel/AMD version of the Wi-Fi 6E upgrade kit is slightly different. The former is an AX211 or AX411 with a CNVio2 interface (600 series motherboards only), but the latter is an M.2 2230 PCIe module.

Foreign media speculate that the ASRock AMD 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E Kit may use the MediaTek MT7921K chipset that debuted in the AYANEO handheld last year.

However, both upgrade kits support 2×2 dual-band Wi-FI 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and the AMD version can be easily used with AM4 motherboards (even the earliest A320TM-ITX motherboards).

Finally, a set (two) of antennas + in-chassis extension cables are provided in the box, along with plastic covers and screws for M.2 2230 module mounting. Sadly, ASRock has not disclosed the pricing of the two products.
