ASRock today announced the release of a new BIOS version for the upcoming AMD AM5 motherboards to reduce the time required to boot up.
ASRock is committed to bringing users the best experience by continuously optimizing the BIOS to provide better compatibility and shorter boot time. Now, ASRock has completed the new BIOS version with a significantly shorter boot time, users can download the update from the official website as soon as they receive the motherboard. According to the actual test, the boot-up seconds can be reduced by almost half than expected, and the first boot-up speed is improved.
In addition, ASRock X670E / X670 supports the BIOS Flashback function, which allows all users to easily update BIOS without CPU and RAM via a 24-pin power supply and USB flash drive.
ASRock announced the new generation of AMD X670 series motherboards at Computex Taipei in May this year.
ASRock said the new generation AMD X670 chipset motherboards include the luxury flagship X670E Taichi series, X670E Steel Legend, and the X670E Pro RS for the general public. In addition, it also supports dual Thunderbolt 4.0 Type-C interfaces.
