April 25 Will See The Launch Of The Vivo X80 Series

Vivo’s new flagship device will be launched on the 25th of April at 19:00. This new flagship entry from Vivo will follow the same configuration as the previous X flagship series. There will be three entries into the X80 series, a base model, a Pro model, and a Pro+ model.

Vivo’s partnership with Zeiss will be continuing with these new devices. The focus on photography with the X80 series, as we can see from the slogan of the launch event, “Zeiss Imaging, Beyond What You See”.

As stated earlier, the three models of the X80 series will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen processors, but there will be a Dimensity 9000 model of the X80 Pro. Only two entries from the X80 series will grace the April 25th launch event, the Pro+ model will come towards the second half of 2022.

We can expect a lot from the April 25th launch event. Considering the performance that was seen on the Vivo X70 series launched last year, we can highlight a few features that’ll undoubtedly get better. Last year we saw the launch of Vivo’s first self-developed chip, the V1, which helped improve the image processing ability of the X70 Pro and Pro+. We will certainly see a successor to the V1 image processing chip, this is evident from the dual-core X imaging technology communication meeting to be held on April 20 before the X80 series launch event. This meeting will be held regarding the V1+ image processing chip and the camera ability on the X80 series.

Other information regarding this device like the specs and price will be revealed during the launch event. But, we can rest assured that the pricing of the X80 and X80 Pro will be between $500-$700 price range. This device will certainly set a new standard for camera abilities like stability and image processing.
