According to the latest list published by the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has obtained two patents related to AR glasses, one is a passive heat dissipation design, and the other is a digital crown.

The patent description is that the surface of these AR glasses is coated with transparent and thermally conductive materials such as silver nanowires. This material has stable colouring, is relatively low cost, and has good thermal conductivity and transmittance. Effective area for efficient passive heat dissipation.

In the second patent, it is introduced that a digital crown is installed at the temple of the AR glasses to facilitate user interaction. The patent states that in addition to eye tracking, the digital crown is another way to interact. Input by a user’s finger 824 at the input device 820 may cause the application 805 to move or change.
