At the auction held by LCG Auctions, an unopened first-generation iPhone was put on the shelf. The media Business Insider estimated that the transaction price will be 50,000 US dollars (currently about 337,000 RMB). This auction will last until February 19th. There are currently 2 bids, and the latest price is 2,750 US dollars (currently about 18,535 RMB).
The unopened iPhone came from Karen Green. A friend gave her the unopened iPhone as a gift in 2007 when she took a management position at PetSmart.
She mainly used three Verizon accounts at the time, and the original iPhone only supported the AT&T network, so she didn’t open it, just kept it as a gift. Now she decided to sell the iPhone to ease her financial pressure.
An unopened original iPhone was sold for $39,340 in October 2022, so the transaction price of this iPhone is at least more than $30,000.
