Apple’s patent application “device, method and graphical user interface for gaze-based navigation” was recently published.
The abstract shows that the present disclosure relates to devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for gaze based navigation. In some embodiments, the electronic device expands a content item based on a detection of a user’s gaze. In some embodiments, the electronic device scrolls the text of a content item based on a determination that the user is reading the content item.
Alternatively, in some embodiments, the electronic device navigates between user interfaces based on detection of the user’s head movement and detection of the user’s gaze. In some embodiments, the electronic device displays enhanced content involving a portion of the content based on the detection of the user’s head movement and the detection of the user’s gaze according to some embodiments.
