According to Korean media The Elec, Apple plans to produce 95.6 million iPhone 14 series and 86.3 million iPhone 15 series by the end of this year.
In the iPhone 15 series, the proportion of the Pro lineup is expected to reach 65%. According to reports, orders related to the iPhone 15 series have been sent to four suppliers. The report lists the number of these suppliers as follows:
Foxconn will assemble 50.1 million units, accounting for 58%, the most among the four.
Luxshare Precision will assemble 24.3 million units, accounting for 28%.
Pegatron will assemble 11.3 million units, accounting for 13%.
Wistron will assemble 600,000 units, accounting for 1%.
The Elec stated that the above is the latest order status updated by Apple at the end of July. Compared with the production plan formulated in late June, the iPhone 14 series increased by 1.8 million units, and the iPhone 15 series increased by 1.6 million units; in addition, the production plan for the iPhone 13 series models reduced by 200,000 units.
In addition, the report said that Apple plans to produce 6.6 million iPhone 15 Pro Max units in the third quarter of 2023 and 25.2 million units in the fourth quarter.
