According to foreign technology media MySmartPrice, an Apple device with the model number “A3094” has recently passed the certification of the Indian regulatory agency BIS. Based on previous relevant information, it is speculated that it should be the iPhone 15 series.
In August last year, just a few weeks before Apple released the iPhone 14 series, an Apple phone with model number A2882 showed up at the Indian regulator BIS and later proved to be the standard iPhone 14 model.
The iPhone 14 series models are A2649, A2881, A2884, A2883, and A2882, but it is currently impossible to confirm which model “A3094” is, but it can basically be speculated that it belongs to the iPhone 15 series.
Bloomberg has reported that Apple’s foundry Foxconn has started production of the iPhone 15 in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu (Tamil Nadu) to further narrow the gap between its Indian business and its main manufacturing base in mainland China.
Apple has attempted to synchronize shipments in India and China this year, but the company’s suppliers are not sure it will be possible. The report also pointed out that the scale of iPhone 15 production in India will depend on a variety of factors, including the availability of components, most of which are imported, and the gradual ramp-up of production lines at Foxconn’s factory outside Chennai.
