If nothing unexpected happens, Apple will release a new generation of iPhone 15 series phones in September this year, including iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max (Ultra). At present, each model has entered the mass production stage.
Before the official announcement of Apple’s press conference, Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu said that due to supply constraints, the production forecast for the new iPhone will be lowered from 83 million to 77 million units, while analysts at Japan’s Mizuho Bank expect iPhone 15 production from 84 million units were adjusted to 73 million units.
Mizuho also forecast that Apple will produce 217 million iPhones in 2023, down from a previous forecast of 227 million.
According to previous reports, some analysts said this week that Apple will delay the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro Max until October, and other models are expected to go on sale on September 22.
Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max will allegedly be the first and only iPhone model to use a periscope lens for greater optical zoom, and Sony won’t be able to deliver enough camera sensors in time for this model.
