According to Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, the leading optical lens manufacturer, Dalemitsu, benefited from Apple’s iPhone 14 series in September, with revenue surging to NT$5.103 billion, up 22.31% year-on-year and 14% month-on-month, returning to the NT$5 billion mark and hitting a 22-month high. Looking ahead, Dalit said that October’s revenue momentum appears to be comparable to that of September.

Following Hon Hai’s announcement that September revenue hit a record high of NT$822.3 billion, the latest revenue announcement from Dalit also showed a remarkable result, with monthly revenue returning to the NT$5 billion mark after a nearly two-year absence.
According to the company, the current order book is expected to remain at the same level as in September. Further details will be provided when the third quarter results are released on October 13.
In the first nine months of the year, consolidated revenue was NT$33.285 billion, a decline of 2% compared to the same period last year, but the annual decline has been converging month by month.
IT Home has learned that the proportion of products shipped by Dalit in September was 10% to 20% for products above 20 megapixels, 50% to 60% for products above 10 megapixels, 0% to 10% for products above 8 megapixels, and 30% to 40% for other products.
