Apple iOS 17 has further enhanced the “Visual Look Up” feature to help users more easily identify objects in photos in everyday scenarios.
Users can open the Photos app to identify and learn about popular landmarks, statues, artwork, plants, pets, and more in photos by using the “See Photos” feature.
Apple has further enhanced the “Lookup” feature in iOS 17, and the following improvements as listed below:
- Find recipes for similar dishes from photos.
- Find items in photos: After selecting a subject from a photo, you can find information about the subject directly from the label menu.
- Lookup in the video: Pause the video on any frame and tap the information icon to find the content.
In addition to the official Apple improvements described above, iOS 17’s “Lookup” feature can also identify various error signs on a vehicle’s dashboard. “Lookup can even recognize multiple symbols and icons in the same image.
