Apple was announced last year as the latest sponsor of the Super Bowl Halftime Show and invited Rihanna to perform.
The 57th Super Bowl will be held on February 12, 2023. To further build momentum, Apple has purchased a Hashflag on Twitter with #AppleMusic.
Twitter users tweeting and retweeting with the #AMHalftime, #HalftimeShow, #AppleMusicHalftime and #AppleMusicHalftimeShow logos will carry the new Hashflag.
Hashflag is a unique paid marketing game on Twitter. Hashflag is a hashtag with emoji on Twitter, which usually consists of Hashtag + symbol pattern. When a user likes a related Hashflag post, it brings up a Like button in an animation.
In general, Twitter does not allow hashtags with emojis. Therefore, brands need to pay a high fee to Twitter officials to customize the relevant Hashflag, which also means that users can only use them for specific activities or events (e.g. brand anniversaries, event promotions).
